BCOM

Advancing Integration and Innovation

Geneva LAB is central to BCom’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge, reliable satellite communication solutions. It serves several critical roles in supporting seamless deployment and ongoing service excellence:

  • Complex Integration Testing:
We use the LAB to rigorously validate intricate scenarios before field deployment, including the integration of LEO satellite services with cellular networks. We test multi-orbit (LEO/GEO) cellular backhaul SDWAN handovers to ensure flawless operation across multi-orbit configurations. Additionally, we integrate private 5G networks and IoT solutions with satellite constellations (LEO/MEO/GEO) tailored for specialized enterprise verticals.
  • Tailored Solution Development:
To ensure that satellite systems can withstand extreme environmental conditions, we develop off-the-shelf 1.2m antennas within the LAB designed to sustain winds up to 200 km/h and endure other impacting weather conditions, like snow accumulation and heat.

For specific satcom systems or deployments: We produce comprehensive manuals, videos, and integration materials to facilitate rapid and easy installation in challenging scenarios, even by inexperienced or non-technical personnel.

  • Equipment Testing & RMA Management:
Prior to shipping, we test all equipment in the LAB to prevent “dead on arrival” incidents and issue detailed reports with relevant KPIs, providing key reference data for field installation.

We also thoroughly inspect and retest any equipment that has been reported to be faulty during field operations, at which point we quickly initiate a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), ensuring reliability and minimizing downtime.
